Before joining the EQT Ventures Advisory Team in 2020, Sofie worked at Spotify for 9 years and was part of building one of the strongest consumer brands in the world. During her time at Spotify she managed corporate, consumer and executive communication.
Previously Sofie has held positions at tech companies (Microsoft, Creative Labs), as well as communication agencies (Prime PR, Rewir) and start-ups. She has been based in Stockholm, New York, Reading, Munich, Paris and Dublin.
Sofie has also founded Emerge & Co, a consultancy business focused on strategy and brand building where she has worked with clients like Voi, Hedvig, Doktor. se, Avicii Experience, Space Digital Culture Center, Creed Media, Podimo and others.
In her role as Operating Partner she helps portfolio companies carve out a powerful and compelling story, which can be a game-changer to start-ups. Building attention around the brand, product and team can help you attract the right talent, investors, partners and customers to the business and secure business critical opportunities, cementing the ground for future success. Sofie also manages communication for EQT Ventures.
