Anne first fell in love with startups by selling diamonds online (as part of the founding team of Blue Nile) and then selling just about everything in the world online (as a product leader at eBay).She then moved into B2B SaaS as an executive at SurveyMonkey and then Zendesk. At Zendesk (NYSE:ZEN), Anne led global operations, driving employee growth from 350 to over 2,000 across 20 offices, while operationalizing their strategy to expand into multiple product lines and grow up-market to better serve enterprise customers.
Currently, Anne serves as the lead independent director and Compensation Committee Chair for Asana (NYSE:ASAN), the leader in collaborative work management. Anne also sits on the boards of Gusto, Patreon, and Guru. Anne previously served as an independent director for SendGrid (NYSE: SEND) until it was acquired by Twilio (NYSE: TWLO).
Anne is part of the teaching team for Startup Garage at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a busy mother of 3. She holds a B.A. in Economics and Sociology and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. Outside of work, Anne enjoys cooking, reading, travel, and cheering for her kids as they compete in water polo and swimming.
