Home raises €3 million round, led by EQT Ventures

Lars Jörnow

Home is a platform dedicated to creating a better housing experience for landlords and tenants alike and currently enables landlords to better manage their properties. EQT Ventures is happy to join Home’s €3 million round as a lead investor, along with the company’s existing investor, Redalpine.

Renting a home or be a landlord can be time-consuming, stressful and complicated for everyone involved. This is why the company’s founders, Thilo Konzok and Moritz von Hase created Home, an application that enables landlords to better manage their properties. Landlords connect their bank with the app and Home then automatically tracks rent payments, alerts landlords to late or missing payments and monitors the value of properties, giving landlords less to worry about.

“Moritz and I grew up providing and designing space for people to live in. Since we can’t buy or build every apartment, we wanted to enable landlords to provide better housing experiences. Making apartment management simpler and more enjoyable for Landlords was a natural first step in our journey. We’re also excited about opening the platform to tenants soon and making renting an apartment a much better experience by removing the worries around issues such as applications, Wifi and utility billing. This latest round of investment will help us to continue to build on the platform and hire fantastic talent. It’s really exciting to be working with Lars and the team at EQT Ventures, which has vast operational experience in growing and scaling companies,” said Thilo Konzok, Home’s founder and CEO.

“Thilo and Moritz are two of the most energetic and driven founders I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They have a deep understanding of the property market and a very clear vision - use technology to enable a better housing experience for everyone. With our expertise in growing businesses, EQT Ventures is looking forward to helping the team expand Home quickly and successfully,” said Lars Jörnow, Partner and investment advisor to EQT Ventures.
