EQT Ventures is looking for a venture analyst - based in London, but with frequent travel to Paris - to help the team scout for the next global success story in the UK and France. This person will join the fast-growing London office, including partners Lyle Fong and Johan Svanström, and will be a key member of the deal team that evaluates and meets tech startups. The role includes researching companies, industries and business models, supporting the deal team and building long-term relationships with entrepreneurs.


  • Support the deal team in producing investment committee materials (presentations and financial models)
  • Research companies, industries, and business models to provide the broader team with a thorough understanding and insights into an industry and company prior to an investment decision
  • Meet and evaluate early stage and growth tech companies
  • Proactively track and manage potential new investments

Desired skills and experiences:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally within business or technology
  • Approximately two years of professional experience in a tech-startup, investment banking, consulting and/or similar
  • Analytical skills – ability to quickly evaluate financials / P&L, build forecasting models with various scenarios and develop unit metrics for any kind of business
  • Fluent in French
